Living a happy and long life involves a combination of healthy physical habits—such as eating a plant-based diet, regular exercise, and 7–9 hours of sleep—and mental wellness practices, including cultivating strong social connections, nurturing gratitude, and finding daily purpose. Managing stress and maintaining a positive, present-focused outlook are also key.

Key Pillars for a Long and Happy Life
  • Physical Health & Nutrition:
    • Diet: Focus on a Mediterranean-style diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and healthy fats like olive oil.
    • Activity: Incorporate at least 30 minutes of daily movement, such as walking, to strengthen the heart and immune system.
    • Rest: Ensure 7–9 hours of quality sleep to allow body and mind recovery.
    • Hydration: Drink sufficient water daily.
  • Mental and Emotional Well-being:
